The South Pacific Fly-in Clam Bake at The READING AIR Fest is the most fun and unique Fly-in on the East Coast and it keeps getting bigger and better. This year, aviators from all over the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic will converge on Reading Regional Airport for 2 days of fun and excitement on The North Ramp.
In addition to the Fly-in Clam Bake and B.B.Q, there will be The READING AIR Show, an old-style barnstormer air show that will see the US Army Golden Knights "drop-in" to kick off the weekend along with world-famous Wing-Walker Ashley Battles, and the Alabama Boys with the World's Smallest Airport.
When the skies clear, the READING AIR Concert Series begins with live music from Berks County's own Frog Holler on-stage at 5 pm. All the way from South Carolina, The Marshall Tucker Band takes the stage at 7 pm and we be rockin' the Reading Airport like never before!

The Reading Railroad Heritage Museum, located in Hamburg, PA, is owned and operated by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society, a non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the Reading Railroad. Open to the public since 2008, the Museum tells the story of the Reading Railroad, one of the world's largest corporations, made even more famous by the game of MONOPOLY. Reading Pops Orchestra
Established in 1969, The “Pops” perform popular classics, classic pop, and music with a lighter flair in the Berks area at several events including the Annual Father’s Day Concert, the Muhlenberg Summer Concert series, the Wyomissing Stone House, and the "Sunday with the Pops" series at the Miller Center at RACC. Reading Pretzel Festival
Pretzel Fest will be held Sept. 27 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. Last year we had an amazing selection of Pretzel dishes. Year two looks to be even better! Reading Public Library
Founded in 1763, Reading Public Library is one of the oldest, though not continuously operating, libraries in the United States and celebrates its 250th anniversary this year. It wasn’t until 1913 that the Main Library, as it currently stands, was built through the generosity of Andrew Carnegie. RPL serves as a resource center for the City of Reading, its suburbs, the Greater Reading area and beyond.
Reading Railroad Heritage Museum
Visitors can see exclusive video showcasing the Reading Railroad, plus view exhibits about the influence of the Reading Railroad on society, business, technology, and the environment. Visit and see why everyone wants to learn about the heritage of one of the most influential railroads in the history of the eastern United States. Reading Regional Airport Authority
RDG is a 139 Certificated Airport providing a safe and efficient facility for corporate and charter flight departments. RDG has three Fixed Based Operators that provide a full range of aircraft services as well as charter services and flight training. RDG is also home to the Mid Atlantic Air Museum.
The Reading Royals are Reading’s own ECHL ice hockey team. Affiliates to the American Hockey League (AHL) Hershey Bears, and the National Hockey League (NHL) Washington Capitals. The team plays at the Santander Arena.

Reading Terminal Market
The Reading Terminal Market has over 80 vendors offering groceries handmade crafts jewelry clothing flowers and more. The indoor market first opened in 1892 and at that time boasted the largest refrigeration unit in Philadelphia with 52 separate rooms having a total of a half-million cubic feet of space.
Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen
Founded in 1945, the Reading-Berks Chapter--the largest in the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen--has a four-fold mission: To promote and protect the interests of the craftsman; to encourage the study and practice of handcrafts; to uphold the best of traditional and contemporary crafts; and to maintain standards of excellence in design and technique. Juried membership is open to anyone. In addition to its annual juried spring and holiday fine arts and crafts festivals held at O'Pake Fieldhouse, 312 Trexler Ave., Kutztown, Pa. 19530, the Guild has a monthly “Your Berks Craftsmen” show on BCTV, publishes a newsletter, hosts an annual BCIU student awards program with cash awards for Berks County high school seniors, and disburses annual grants to members for educational use. The Guild donates yearly to BCTV and the Kutztown University Scholarship fund. It also participates in the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center’s Easter-on-the-Farm, Heemet Fescht and Christmas-on-the-Farm events.
