Berks County Heritage Center
The Berks County Heritage Center is a historical interpretive complex commemorating important eras of our cultural history. The Heritage Center hosts the annual Heritage Festival in October and several other annual events, along with a seasonal Interpretive Program series featuring workshops and programs for all ages. The Heritage Center is open from May 1 through the last Sunday in October.The hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.; the center is also open summer holidays. Tours are available daily; the last tour leaves one hour before closing.

Big Vision Foundation
Our tournaments feature age groups ten and under (10-U), 12-U, 13-U, 14-U, 16-U, and 19-U. Games are played at the Berks County Youth Recreation Facility (1098 County Welfare Road, Leesport, PA 19533) as well as various other locations around Berks County (see website schedule for further details). Dutch Hex Tour Association
Enjoy a self-driving tour through northern Berks County along scenic Old Route 22 and discover the colorful art form known as hex signs -- the uniquely American "fancy" folk art and best-known symbol of the Pennsylvania Germans. Hex signs, which showcase the pride, tradition and heritage of the area, can be seen on dozens of large, Swiss-type barns throughout the region.
GoggleWorks Center for the Arts
One of the largest, most comprehensive interactive community arts and cultural resource centers in the country. Located in downtown Reading, GoggleWorks offers an exceptional opportunity for everyone to experience and learn about the arts in working studio environments. Inside, you'll find four galleries, artist studios, dance and music studios, a wood shop, photography classroom, film theatre, glass-blowing facility, and ceramic and jewelry studios along with a cafe, gift shop, and office space for community arts and cultural organizations. Free parking. No admission fee. It's a whole city block where art happens. Visit the GoggleWorks open house event on the Second Sunday of every month.
Gring’s Mill Recreation Area
The historic buildings at Gring's Mill Recreation Area house the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department's administration and maintenance offices. An information center, group meeting facilities, snack bar, and restrooms are located in the adjoining barn. Recreation facilities include six tennis courts, a softball field, an eighteen station exercise course, and one sand volleyball court. A game court area features volleyball and shuffleboard courts, quoits, and horseshoe pits.

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary
Hawk Mountain is a scientific research center, an international conservation training site, a learning facility for all ages, an eco-tourism destination, a wildlife sanctuary open to the public year-round, and the world's largest member-supported raptor conservation organization. It is one of the best places in northeastern North America to view the annual autumn hawk migration.
Kutztown Folk Festival

Maple Grove Raceway
Maple Grove Raceway is centered around a quarter-mile straight racetrack which features NHRA Drag Racing plus many specialized automotive-oriented events throughout the season, every weekend from April to November. From nostalgia racing, Top Fuel dragsters, and jet-powered vehicles to Street Bike races and Street Legal Grudge racing, Maple Grove has something to offer for almost every type of automobile interest.

Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine

Proud Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies since 1967, the Reading Fightin Phils are one of the top family entertainment destinations in eastern Pennsylvania. Visit First Energy Stadium for the most entertaining experience in Minor League Baseball.
The Reading Royals are Reading’s own ECHL ice hockey team. Affiliates to the American Hockey League (AHL) Hershey Bears, and the National Hockey League (NHL) Washington Capitals. The team plays at the Santander Arena.
